Earlier this evening firmware 2.2 Beta 2 was seeded to developers.(Yes I also gets busy when it comes to SDK apps for the IPhone holla at me) In this firmware version like the google G1 phone Google Street View is enabled on the iphone. 

Firmware 2.2 beta 1 included the APIs for Street View but the feature wasn’t enabled. Other things like push still haven’t been confirmed but we expect to see push supported before the public release of 2.2. What are some features you want to see in 2.2? Something else new that appears in 2.2 Beta 2 could be more options when getting directions via Maps. According to someone on iphoneyap bus and walking directions are now options in firmware 2.2 beta 2. It appears in the photos below that the bus directions even include bus schedule times, now that is a hot commodity to have which proves that this is one of the sickest phones because it can always bring something new to the table and u don’t have to buy a new version every year like other phones.

A black couple from Missouri seek amends from clothing store Journeys after their son was given a receipt that said “dumb N-word” in capital letters.

Linda Slater said she’s both saddened and angry that it happened and “to know that racism is still alive.”

On Friday, her son Keith Slater, 22, bought a pair of loafer-style shoes from the Journeys at the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kan., about a 30-minute drive from their home in Kansas City, Mo.

When he found a less expensive pair of similar shoes at a different store a short while later, however, he returned the first pair to Journeys the next day.

The clerk, whom Linda Slater described as a 20-something white woman, asked why he was returning the shoes and Keith Slater told her about the less expensive shoes he had bought.

It wasn’t until the family got home that he glanced at his receipt and saw the insult printed next to the line marked “Cust” for customer.

“Then I was like, ‘Nah, no way. It can’t say that,” Keith Slater, a junior at Missouri State University in Springfield, told us today. “I was shocked, ’cause I didn’t do anything for that to happen.”

The rapper’s baby boy, Dwayne Carter III, was born Wednesday afternoon at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, his rep confirms

He has not released the identity of the baby’s mother.

The 26-year-old (real name: Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) announced he’d soon have a son at Sunday’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Diddy has bought the fashion label Enyce in a deal worth $20million, US media reports claim.

The New York based label, which predominantly specialises in hip-hop fashion, had been under the ownership of Liz Claiborne.

Claiborne paid a reported $144million for the label in 2003, according to New York magazine.

P Diddy is expected to bring the label into line with his existing
business projects, which already include a fashion label and restaurant
chain.

Atlanta rapper T.I. refuses to let anyone or anything ruin his good spirits. After shooting the video for what was to be one of his singles off Paper Trail, the rapper has been forced to scrap it.T.I. says the video failed to get clearance after both Gucci and Loui Vuitton claimed copyright infringement.

“We did it, and it came out hot,” T.I. tells MTV. “Louis [Vuitton] and Gucci started trippin’ about it. They were saying we were infringing, in one way or another. They weren’t happy about it. They didn’t want it to come out. But it’s hot, though.”
